Our village of La Democracia is centrally located in the Belize district, close to major centers, sitting between Belmopan and Belize City. The Tilapia farm is just half a mile from the village and as good economic stewards, we intend to continue to be an excellent contributor to the local economy with our expansion, help La Democracia grow and prosper, and lead to careers and the return jobs for many locals. At its peak, the original plant and farm employed about 60 workers, and we intend to return as many, or even more jobs, like this to the local economy as we grow and develop.

As part of our commitment to a brighter Belize and the local area, Fein Catch will also be closely involved with all aspects of local government and governing bodies within the industry. We are fully compliant with Belize Agricultural Health Authority (BAHA) which monitors farming across the country. We use HACAAP standards for our processing and have received certification from Health and Sanitation for all shipments from the facility. We are registered with the FDA, Belize Trade and Investment Development Service (BELTRAIDE) for continuous exports, and have top level marks for sustainability.
